Spring 2025 Middle School Program
Information & Registration

Qualification: Enrolled in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. No experience necessary,

Dates: Tuesday, March 11, 2025 - Thursday, May 15, 2025 (10 weeks)

Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday, 4- 6pm

LGRC Boathouse, Lexington Reservoir

Cost: $700

This non-competitive program is meant to introduce middle school aged athletes to the sport of rowing, develop skills, and prepare them for the competitive junior program. Athletes will row in both sweep (each athlete has one oar) and sculling (each athlete has two oars) boats. This program is great for athletes that want to try out rowing but are not ready for the commitment of the competitive program.

This program has limited enrollment and fills up quickly.

READY TO JOIN?

Step 1: Register for a US Rowing number

Club Code: GHZ7U (case sensitive)

The member is the athlete, not the Parent!

The cost of membership is about $10

Step 2: Register as an LGRC Member

Create a user profile and enter your US Rowing number

Step 3: Register for the program

Once you complete your LGRC registration, you will be able to login to the website and have access to register for the youth programs.

9/10/13 - 11/10/13 -> 10 weeks, 20 sessions

T&Th from 4 - 6PM

Grades 6 - 8

Coaching staff TBD but a subset of the existing

Slots: 18 total but a waitlist will start when full.

Two sessions Fall and Spring (Spring will start in March)

Cost $400

Volunteer hour requirement - 4 hours with a $100 buyout optional

No uniform or travel required
