Since RowHouse members have learned the basics of erging, we will primarily be on the water (with some oar work on land).
What should I bring?
• Water (there’s no running water at the boathouse)
• Sunscreen
• Baseball cap or visor
• Swim Waiver

• US Rowing Waiver

Please fill out the name and address portion on the right, and sign the form, don’t worry about the club or membership information, that is for us to fill out.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable exercise clothing – nothing too baggy. The seats on the rowing machines and in the boat move back and forth along rails, so it’s important to avoid clothing that might get caught on the equipment
Layering lightweight tops is a good idea if the forecast is for overcast or breezy weather. Wear socks and athletic shoes (tennis shoes, running shoes or sneakers). You’ll keep your shoes on while you’re on the rowing machines and in the barge.
Directions from downtown Los Gatos area:
Take Hwy 17 South towards Santa Cruz and exit at Bear Creek Road
Turn right at the exit stop sign and then take an immediate left curve back on to Hwy 17 North towards San Jose/Alma Bridge Road
Stay in the right hand lane and exit at Alma Bridge Road. Follow the road around the reservoir for about 1.5 miles +/- past the Parks boat launch parking lot. You'll also pass a quarry entrance on your left. Keep going, the boathouse is a few more turns away.
The driveway entrance to the boathouse is on the right. Drive down the hill and turn left into the first parking area. Do not park on a red curb (fire lane) of the driveway.
We look forward to getting you on the water!
